Condolence Donation- 03-12-2009

The Club contributes RM 200.00 to a Member who passed away. For a Committee Member we contribute RM 400.00. A member of the family , or friend need to inform any one listed in Board of Directors or Area Representative. We will pay a visit to the family to offer our condolence, and at the same time hand them the token condolence donation. So far we have paid to 10 of our members. We started by giving RM 100.00. The amount was increased to RM 200.00 with effect from January 2009.

BIRTHDAY / POT LUCK PARTY

Every first Saturday of the month. Held at Club House from 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm. A member whose birthday falls on any day of that particular month will be sent an invitation letter to participate. Members to bring enough food for themselves and to share with others present. We encourage the birthday member to bring along realatives and friends to celeberate their birthday. Please make sure to bring extra food. The Club will provide birthday cake and fried mee or beehoon. To those who like to sing, please bring own CD. Coffee, tea and mineral water will be provided by the Club. Come and have fun. You will enjoy meeting members whom you have not met, probably from your own neighbourhood. NEW PREMISE FOR DAY CENTER AND CLUB HOUSE!!!!!

National Council Of Senior Citizens Organisation Malaysia - NACSCOM, was kind enough to purchase a double storey link corner house No: 40 USJ 6 / 6 K , Subang Jaya. The right side of the house is adjacent to Court 3 and very near to the overhead pedestrian bridge. The said house was purchased for RM 480 K on 16-10-2009. It will be used as Day Center and activities for the members of Senior Citizens Club: Subang Jaya. We hope to move in sometime January 2010, after transfer of property by the Land Office. The 27 feet wide space will be cemented and a roof with be put up, for members to conduct activities. We appeal for donations from members and the the general public for renovation as well as monthly expenses to manage the CLUB.
After almost 12 years of existence, the Club at last a premise of it's own. The problem of serching for new premise every 2 to 3 years, and the cost of shifting has finally come to end.

MEMBERSHIP
As at end of November 2009 we have 529 Life Members and 189 Ordinary Members. The fiscal year for the Club is January to December. Ordinary Members need to re-new membership on 1st January, to enjoy the facilities of the Club. The renewal fee is RM 12.00. Life Membership is RM 110.00 and New Ordinary membership is RM 22.00. Application forms can be obtained at the Club House currently at 01&02 Block V, Subang Perdana Court 2, USJ 6. Office hours 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) Phone number 03 5621 7127. Person in-charge Mr. Anba. Forms can also be obtained from the Area Representatives. A Membership Card and an official receipt will be issued.
